Metal Plating the Lude?

A friend and I were talking earlier and it turns out he is a professional at metal plating. I took a look at his work and he can pretty much mold, plate, and cut anything metal or plastic. Any metal or finish it seems, I was thinking about having him do a little work on my car. At the moment I'm drawing a blank at what I should get worked on first(preferably small stuff at first). Any suggestions?
