Vtec Question

Does anyone elses car scream when the Vtec kicks in? i dont mind it but this is my first Vtec car haha so i'd hate to be killing my steez out of ignorance.

Depends. Its usually pretty burly. If you have an intake it def makes it louder and growl. In my opinion b16/18 are louder... My 01 u can hear stock and w few mods on my 96 its way more noticable

my accord F22 vtec was louder then my lude but no where near the power of my h22a (duh) all it did was make sound i dont think i went anywhere lmao.. when your car screams that just means vtec is doing its job

There's a definite increase in volume when vtec kicks in, which is a little above 5000 for my 2001 base Prelude. I'm not gonna lie, I get chills down my spine every time she opens up like that.

haha oh nah man its pretty burly. yea i watched some h22 dyno pulls and it sounds like it's a normal frequency, ive learned to love it.

i hit vtach at 2k rpm'z and i redline at 10k rpm'z.. at screams like a beast from hell haha just joking but it louder on cold days cause its suckin in that breezy ass air! haha
