H22A4 shifter cart? oh yeah, I just went there.

So while we were standing around my old engine/tranny we just pulled from my bb6, the question came up of what I'm going to do with it. A shifter cart build was then brougt up and the first things that came to my mind was bad-*** and hosptal. After thinking about it some more, I'm going to have all of the front end from my lude to do it, and the cable shift linkage will be perfect...

My question is: has anyone heard of this before? I live in wyoming where we have next to no vehicle restrictions and no emissions so that wont be an issue.

Re: H22A4 shifter cart? oh yeah, I just went there.

This will be started after my j-swap is done. I cant fund two huge projects at once.

That is if nobody buys the old engine/tranny swap before i finish my current build. I was hoping to sell it for turbo funding or even trade it off.

Either way, i once seen an STI turned into a four wheeler so I dont see why this couldnt be done. I'll put more thought into it over the next couple of days.

h22 in a shifter cart? 2 things you need to do, make reservations at the hospital and find a magic wand that can give you traction. But good luck, Id still love to see it built.

Re: H22A4 shifter cart? oh yeah, I just went there.

I've often pondered the same thing, an H22 shifter kart. Then I started thinking about a fiberglass shell for the kart.... then lights... and a dash... and then it just came to be an idea for a mid engine H22 powered street legal kit car.

However, a shifter kart with an H22 is badass. Hardest part? Running the shifter cables to the rear lol.

HAHAHA H22 in a shifter cart chassis is not going to work, it is just way to small.

Try a Formula SAE or Formula 2000 style which I would consider a car, or even a Lotus 7 Replica.
Or get a Spec Racer Ford and make it a Spec racer Honda.
