help me pick a new color!

i have a 98 prelude and right now its very red. not that i dont like red but i like it more as a 2nd color like trim. but anyways i dont know what color to paint her. i want it to be "different" i was thinking about maroon with a nice set of flat black rims. nothing very vibrent like yellow or orange. unless its like for trim or rims. my interior is black too. im open to any nd all ideas

Re: help me pick a new color!

I'd paint the top or bottom half black. I have a 92 prelude that's all red and I plan on painting the bottom half black and getting matching rims and interior. Either that or go with a pearl white. White is always a sexy color on 5th gens. Good luck and post some pics when you decide what you want.

Re: help me pick a new color!

ya i was thinking white with purple rims and black and purple interior. like i said im not the biggest fan of red. i like "different" right now my 3 ideas are

maroon with flat black rims. (dont know what else i could do with this one)

white with purple rims and mably some small purple dacal

black or deep grey with lime green rims and lime green mesh

or teal and carbon fiber. car would b a nice teal color with a cf hood and grey matching rims.

Re: help me pick a new color!

What was the exact color of the Jun 4th gen Prelude? Whatever it was, paint it that color. :D
Then get some dark flat gold rims. SO BOSS.

Whatever color you do, make sure you find a good shop to do it, don't just Maaco that ****. I've never seen as much spider cracks as I have on that hack job that Maaco does.

Re: help me pick a new color!

I would advise against white or black. They both show dirt easily. I'd also stay away from extremely bright colors like a bright green, orange or yellow. I've seen it before, doesn't look to good. I'd also stay away from the two-tone color + black combo. But thats just my personal opinion.
