i think it is called test pipe, LOL
it is the thing that replace the Catalytic converter.
because my catalytic converter is too old and cant even take it out.
but it is OK to drive?
it was a lot of white smoke coming out form the header and the exhaust after installed.

can you tell me more about it, i'm new in here.

Use two sparkplug defoulers where the 2nd o2 sensor screws in that should clear the code. and yes it is "safe" to drive, but while the code is on your engine will run in limp mode

I don't know how many times this has been discussed, but a CEL for a missing/faulty secondary 02 sensor will NOT put your car in limp mode, even on OBD2 systems.

Seriously, where do people keep getting this misinformation? It's getting really frustrating haha.

My question is, when i drive on highway, the engine light goes on, if i just drive at the local, i will never have the engine light.

Pull the code then tell us what it is so we can help you better. A CEL could indicate any number of problems. How are we supposed to know which it is?

Why don't you want to have a catalytic converter?
because i already bought the test pipe, i dont wanna sell the test pipe and buy another catalytic converter.

by the way, i get the code for the CEL, it is 43. you have any idea about that?

Re: Engine light on, after installed DC Header, Megan Downpipe and Apexi Exhaust.

It's a 4th gen, there shouldn't be a second oxygen sensor in there unless it's a 96.

And changing a header and deleting the cat won't cause an oxygen sensor code in an OBD-I 'lude, providing you hooked the oxygen sensor up.
