Couple Problems

Hey everybody! This is my first post on PreludeZone so I don't know how everything works yet. Anyway, I have read threads on PZ for about a year and most of you guys are really smart, but there are a couple of things that I couldn't find a solution to.

My first problem is my tach. For some reason when I turn on my car, the needle gets stuck at about 1500 and I have to rev it pretty high then it jumps up and works normally.

Second problem is the fuel and temp gauges. I have read that this is a fairly common problem, so I don't make a big deal about it except on long trips.

Third problem, is my shifts. Sometimes when I shift from first to second, or from second to third, I get a clunking or clicking feeling, not grinds.

I finally decided to register and wanted to know if anyone could help me out. I like doing things myself so I would really appreciate any help. By the way it's a 93 h23 SI.

Thanks.
