Automatic folding, heated mirrors?

I was wondering if there are any Prelude side view mirrors that are both electric folding and heated. Also, can you set them up to fold in when the car turns off?

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to set the mirrors to fold when you shut the car off.

I've heard of a few people trying to fit both the headed AND folding option into the same mirror but had an issue of fitting all the wires in the mirror/down the door.

Re: Automatic folding, heated mirrors?

The northern Japan cars would've been fitted with the cold weather package (which includes heated mirrors) and I'm lead to believe that the folding mirrors were fitted to all JDM cars (happy to be proven wrong, as usual) so in theory if you could track down a wrecked northern car you could bolt it all in.

Operative word of course is "if".

Otherwise you could custom job it, which would probably be easier than tracking down a car from a small part of the world that is currently in a little bit of strife.

Re: Automatic folding, heated mirrors?

You could get the JDM power folding mirrors and add your own heating element and then you'd have what you want. But i don't understand circuits and switches all that much but maybe this will help? Found it on a prev post
Mirrors items - Get great deals on Exterior, Car Truck Parts items on eBay Motors!
All you would need to do is attach the heater pad dealies on to the back side of the mirror and then figure out how to work it into the circuit.

Not sure if the link is still good, they block ebay from work. but its a lead!
