Bodykit

Ok so its been about 4 years since I had my last Prelude, and I can't help but notice that noone has ever made the attempt to make a Widebody kit for the 4th Gen 'lude. Or if they have its hidden down in some company's basement. So if anyone happens to know who's basement its hiding in and post any links here it will be greatly appreciate as I'm in the middle of purchasing a '95 'lude Vtec.

This looks like the "Titanic" kit from a 5th gen modified to fit a 4g with some MAJOR fabricating. Also looks like an EDM car.

Not sure what this is but it's widebody 4g nonetheless.

Here's a custom one.

And a few more.

They're all ugly to me though. A 4th gen is already widebody in a matter of speaking from the factory, especially looking at it from the rear.

You know where to get the kit in the 2nd to last pic? That's the best looking one that I've seen. If you can get the website for it that would be great.

There were never any production widebody kits for the 4th gen. I think Australia might have had one or two but it'dbe almost impossible to get one. I wouldn't know where to begin to try to figure out what kit that is on that car you're talking about. It's just a pic I found. Whatever it is, was modified to fit the car but it definately wasn't originally for a 4th gen Lude.

I like the race car, but the yellow one looks like a newer celica gt-s and the red one looks like a ferrari. Ughh...I think im gonna puke. All the blue car pics look better than the rest, though.

Actually the more I look at the blue one, the more and more its beggining to look like the supra kit from veilside, just from the way the doors and rear fenders are done up. The 1st pic of the the blue lude is just a normal kit but they just added wider fenders to it, which in all actuality from looking at it doesn't look to bad. I'm just curious b/c I'm getting a '95 lude and I'm planning on setting it up for shows, buddy of mine has an Audi A4 1.8t, and he participates in Db Drag, he's got 2 12's and he hits at 137Db so that's my plan for the lude to show and go, and place in some Db Drags.

the red and yellow ludes are ME editions from Germany( v8 rwd from what I've heard) the crazy blue one has a valu front bumper on it and if you look for the full valu kit it is a fender flare wide body kit but its ugly imo

I think the fact that nobody makes a commercially availble widebody kit for Preludes isn't such a bad thing, I've never seen one I liked; on anything.

I would think the way to go would be to print off the blue one tha tyou like, walk into a custom fibreglass place and say "can you make me this?" Or if you think you're pretty good with your hands, try yourself.
