5th gen short shifter rubbing on console
Hey guys I just picked up a 1998 Type SH today and one of the previous 2 owners must have been partially retarded because a short shifter was installed, but whatever needs to be trimmed under the shifter housing/console sure wasn't. Changing to 1 3 and 5 all cause the console to move and creak, and makes shifting feel terrible. I have searched but cannot find a DIY or anything specific to a 5th gen. Any help as to how I remove the console, what to trim etc would be much appreciated! Thanks
