would it hurt my h22 stock if i put a turbo on it?

I have a 94 prelude si with an h22 in it, I was wanting to know if it would hurt my engine if I were to put a Turbo on it pushing around 4 lbs or lower on the stock engine?

What would I have to do to the engine to run a Turbo?

If I was going to go natural aspirated what all could I do to get the most out of my engine with out changing internals? I already have a cold air intake and a 4 2 1 header with a 2.5 inch exhaust all the way down

Re: would it hurt my h22 stock if i put a turbo on it?

No matter what size the turbo is, only running 4psi is like getting a Top-10 model, absolutely gorgeous, perfect rack and ass, completely naked in your bed, and only getting a peck on the cheek.
Its completely and utterly pointless.

Change everything but the internals :)

Air intake, intake manifold, header proven to increase power, exhaust, p28 ECU with a chip and a tune, weight reduction, stickers...

No supercharger for us 4th gen guys. The only 'ludes that had a supercharger available were the 5th gen, which was a Jackson Racing kit. The supercharger is way too small, and doesn't produce much in the gains department.

Please search man. U gotta learn some things by yourself. If it sounded like you've searched around some, then we would be more likely to help you. But u sound like you havent looked around at all. Search and then if u have any questions, ask away

Re: would it hurt my h22 stock if i put a turbo on it?

Well I already have like I would really like a intake manifold. Aftermarket but what kind should I get I like the venom ones but I saw this one on YouTube running an intake manifold and it looked like it was backwards on the engine it looked like it would give me alot of air into the engine but I can't actually find the intake anywhere because right now I'm running the old style stock manifold and I know the engine has more potential if I were to let it breath more by changing that

The JRSC kit can be used on 4G VTEC models. You just have to beat the piss out of the firewall to solve some clearance issues.

The Euro-R intake manifold is your best bet.

Nevermind I feel dumb it was the throttle body but does anyone know if I could put jenvey throttlebody on my h22 though? Because I know that would give me a ton of air flow by doing so

Jenvey? Never heard of it.

You don't want too big of a throttle body though. You should do a little research on intake velocity.

Like I said, it doesn't fit. lol. Beating the piss out of the firewall is only acceptable if you're putting an LS1 in there.

LS1's are overrated.

I read something about this for the VTEC sound, "Burn it on to a cd, put it on repeat, and turn it up all the way!"
