Tuning with Crome

I just downloaded Crome and I was hoping to learn a lot about it and maybe tune my ecu (chipped Phearable P28). I know this isn't for people who don't know what they're doing, but I just want to adjust my 2 step. I figure it can't be too hard. I downloaded Crome and installed it, but it won't load?

I get this error message:

Exception EOleSysError in module crome.exe at 000CD7F5
Error accessing the OLE registry.

I have Windows 7.

I basically just want to learn how to tune my ECU. For starters, don't just start attacking me calling me and idiot and telling me I'm going to break it. I don't plan on jumping right in and changing ****. I still have no clue how to hook my ECU to my computer. Or can I even do it from a home PC?

EDIT: I got it to work by running it as an administrator, but I can't find the launch control.

Re: Tuning with Crome

Sounds like a pretty big step man, good luck. I have been thinking about getting a chipped ECU and learning to tune the basics. let us know how it goes.

I know, but I just don't understand how to connect the ecu to my computer.

How much would that run me? Also, only if you teach me to use it

I'm really just trying to get my feet wet in the world of tuning. I don't plan on being a master by any means, but I'd like to be able to make little changes on my own without relying on someone else.
