Re: for all those with megan headers

I would just buy Kronn's Hytech replica, and get a 2.5" cat.

Re: for all those with megan headers

Official HyTech replica H22 Tri-Y header Group Buy!! - Preludepower.com

Things are the best for the price. Mine arrived a couple weeks ago-beautifully constructed. Haven't installed yet though.

Re: for all those with megan headers

Quoted from the thread:

"^^^Picture of the crossmember notch taken from above. Unfortunately, the shop doing the install was clueless as to how to install this header. Otherwise, that notch would not exist."

So theoretically, if you know what you're doing, you won't have to worry about it :)

Re: for all those with megan headers

I had a megan header on my BB1 from a few days after I got it, until it got wrecked, so almost 3 years. No problems as far as quality goes. Power though...probably not much better than stock, considering it's just a copy of the OEM unit.

Re: for all those with megan headers

i have the hytec replica installed and did not have to notch the cross member.
it will vibrate against the cross member sometimes though but it's not to bad.

Re: for all those with megan headers

I have an FGK which is almost identical to the mugen. I like it. Fitment is simple and performance wise its slightly better then stock. Im upgrading to a Bisimoto after tax time tho

Sry read megan as mugen lol. Megans ok. Its a direct bolt on. Any aftermarket will give u better performance over stock bc its smooth VS angular. But dont look for any crazy gains w/o droppin some cash.
