jdm motor swap extra wired

ok here we go 92 prelude with a jdm motor and a us harness. ended up with 2 extra wire connectors.1 is green 2 wire in the dist harness.the 2nd is on the pass strut tower and is gray 2 wire.(see pics) the fans do not come on and the check engine light is on.is there a way to pull codes with out a scan tool?
does any one have a vacuum hose routing chart? thanks for any help you can give us

it is a f22b took the h23 out

Re: jdm motor swap extra wired

you should specify what engine u have. i have those same wires and my car runs fine i have the jdm f22b, the check engine is prolly because the f22b doesnt have a knock sensor. as for the fans idk.

the knock sensor on the h23 is on the back side of the block under the intake mani. the f22b doesnt even have a hole for one they dont use it

Re: jdm motor swap extra wired

the round plug lookslike the one that goes on the vtec pressure sensor ( the one that sticks out of the vtec solenoid ) this sensor is not on the obd1 jdm engines .. was your usdm engine an h22 ??? if so this sensor needs to be installed on the new motor ( if your running the usdm ecu ) ... as far as the grey 2 wire if its a big connector its for your fans .. trace the connectors back from the fan ... there is a connector ( 2 wire under the center console towards the front ) use a piece of wire to jump it out and the check engine light will flash you codes .. long blink is the first number fast blinks second number

Re: jdm motor swap extra wired

there are 2 green connectors for the coolant sensors, 1 is on the t-stat housing and the other is under the dizzy. i believe (could be wrong tho) they're both for the fans.
