Fuel question

I'll make this short. My '94 Prelude VTEC takes a few extra revolutions to start sometimes. She runs fantastic. She has 184k miles. I changed my plugs (NGK V Power copper), cap, rotor, and wires in like March or May. Letting the fuel pump prime up a few times before starting doesn't help. Battery is a brand new Kinetik HC1400R. I changed my fuel filter today. Not 5 minutes after shutting the car off, I took that hard line off of the filter and only got a small dribble of fuel. Like 3-4 drops. In all the cars I've had before, doing this resulted in a volcano of fuel coming at my face.

EDIT: Also, the car doesn't show signs of having an injector leak or anything like that.

So here's what I'm thinking.
1) I could have a fuel pump on it's way out (Check valve in pump?)
2) Fuel Pressure Regulator is being a slut
3) \(_o)/ I dunno lol.

What do you guys think?

Re: Fuel question

That sounds like the problem I'm having. Take a few tries to start but runs fine afterwards. If I have the clutch pushed in and slam on the gas it about bogs out. I'm thinking it's fuel related. I'm gonna get a Walbro fuel pump next weekend to see if that fixes it.

I dunno if you were talking to IanQ or me, but I changed the filter today... which is how I found the lack of static fuel pressure lol.

Re: Fuel question

Maybe do a fuel pressure test. If you find that it is low I would start at the FPR, then fuel pump if needed.

Re: Fuel question

If it is indeed the pump, I can get a Walbro 255 locally from a friend of mine on the cheap.
