Which way to go, H23-H22A

Ok, the car is a 92 SI headgasket is blown or the head is warpped or both on the H23 in the car. I have another H23 here in the garage, but it is looking a little rough. I pulled it from another 92SI that I did a H22 swap into. I also have a H22A (yes JDM) here, it is on a auto tranny right now, but I have an extra SI tranny here, and I would need to get a P13 for it. Question is do I stay with the H23 and build up a small turbo kit for it, I already have the DSM manifold, I have built several turbo cars and love it. Or do I swap in the H22A and run it N/A for a while, while I am building the H23 to handle more boost from like a big 16G or 18G?

The H22A has Unorthodox pulleys, GReddy SS header, and some other small upgrades. What do you guys think I should do? I am looking for ideas and opinions. I will probably be swapping the H22 in but wanted to see what you had to say...

H22 hands down.
That will give you time to build the H23 so if anything goes wrong with the H22, you'll have a bigger, better, badder, H23 to drop in.

Well, guess it's time to start shopping for a P13 and who I'm going with to sleeve my block. I have 2-H23's so I might be building both later down the road. Man, I might wanna get this thing off blocks first and find some wheels and tires for it... ;)

Someone correct me if I am wrong but a P28 or P72 ECU would be fine for this too right?!

P28 and P72 will be just fine.
If you can get H22 tranny, get it for the shorter gears or you'll fall outta VTEC when you shift due to the longer H23 gears, unless that doesn't bother you. I know a guy gained .4 seconds in his 1/4 by swapping to the H22 tranny when his h23 tranny gave out on his H22 engine in his 4g.

I will be using the H23 tranny since I have two of them laying around. I will probably do a step by step on the H22 swap, not that it's hard, but so everyone can see it. Then once I start my H23 block build I will definately keep everyone posted!! Thanks guys... I still need to find an ECU and a clutch

Well, I'm going to be boosting the H23 eventually. I have 2 of them so I can build one while driving the NA H22. I am going H23 because I like the .1 liter bigger... kidding!! I am doing the H23 because I will be building a DSM turbo kit for it, 18G turbo baby!!
