please please help me choose which setup idk im new

the motor is a h23 si its in a 93 lude ok i have a few diffrent ways i can do my exhuast and i need help to know whats going to sound the best and give me more power. The first way i can do is is take of the cat and put a cherry bomb. that or leave the cat and put a cherry bomb.that or i could leave the cat use the cherry bomb as a resionator and leave the stock muffler or i could take out the cat and use the cherry bomb as a resionator and us the stock muffler. sorry for all the diff ways but i wanted no the best set up. im broke right now so im using what i got. and another question does a bent exhuast tip give the car a diffrent tone then a straight tip. thanks for any tips would really appreciate it. im new to the whole honda thing so give me a break lol .

Re: exhuast

Its a 4cyl car, 90% of the exhausts are going to turn into fart cans if...

1) If your dailying your exhaust

2) Because your dailying your exhaust its most likely going to scrape and creates holes in the exhaust

Even my 3" exhaust i did on my car..it sounded nice for the first 2- 3 months..then it just started to sound like crap.

The only exhaust i liked on the prelude was my old Greddy evo 2 catback

and my friends custom exhaust...it was all mixed up, stock header, into custom 2.5 piping i believe, then into a 2.25 dc muffler.

When he first had it it sounded like a subbie, it had a very nice gurgle.

I would say look for a spectrum elite, an SP2, an Evo 2 (All from Greddy), or a WS2 (apexi)

Re: exhuast

if i do a straight pipe whats it gona sound like i would rather leave it stock then have a fart can i hate them it proably cuz i used to have a chevy s10 with a cherry bomb straight pipes to the cherry bomb it sounded like a lil v8 and no fart can effect at all but that cuz its a v6 right?
