4th to 5th gen.

I have a guy wanting to trade me an SH locally, I'm pretty interested. Always liked the 5th gens.

PROS VS. CONS
LET'S GO

Re: 4th to 5th gen.

5th Gens are heavier and have worse weight distribution. Although, the interior is better (except for the part where they don't have awesome spaceship like gauges).

Personally, I'd stick with the 4G. The curves are timeless.

I want to stay with it sooooo bad, but than again something deep down within just wants to start over and build a 5th gen.
Hmmm.....

Re: 4th to 5th gen.

I say keep the 4th gen because it really is a better car even if the 5th gen is an SH.
However, iiiiiiiiiiif you have the itch for a 5th gen then I say go for it. Lately I would get rid of my car in a heartbeat for an RSX-S.

Re: 4th to 5th gen.

I like the 4th gen more than the 5th gen in pretty much every way to be honest. I think after u add a nice lip kit to both, the 4th gen looks better. I like the 5th gen interior more but I really really like the dash of the 4th gen.

Of course the 4th gen is a tiny bit lighter(not much). 4th gen is obd1 unless u have a 96. But another upside for 5th gens is that theyre 5 lug.....thats about all I can think of rite now. Lol. I love both 4th and 5th gen preludes. I wouldnt mind either

I do love the dash as well and everytime someone gets inside my car all i hear is, "your dash is badass" haha
overall the interior of the 5th is more spacious it seems which i would like..
aaaanndd... 5 lug, so many options. i think all signs point to yes.
i might have the car by this weekend.. who knows.. i know if i did trade one day i will own another 4th gen. for sure!

Re: 4th to 5th gen.

As far as the five lug deal goes it wouldn't be hard to swap the 4th gen with 5th gen knuckles. That would open up a whole plethora of options for factory Honda/Acura wheels that would look sexy as hell on the 4th gen. Isn't the SH harder to find parts for and more expensive when it comes to transmission probs? IMO keep the 4th gen.
