Braking Issue - Need Help.

So, last time I changed my brake pads, I figured out that my brake system was for the Accords that came with the H22 in them (Which I'm assuming means that it was swapped from an Accord due to the brakes?).

Anyway, at first, we didn't know this. (Me and my "Supposed" Car guru friend who doesn't know two ****s about cars) We went to Autozone because the pad had been running almost bare metal on the right side, which is retarded, and picked up the brake pads, for a Prelude. So, we go back to my house, and realize it doesn't fit. Well, at the same time, we had to pick up a rotor and a new caliper. So we got all of that for a Prelude too.

Well, after that's all said and done, we finally realize it's running Accord brakes, so I've been running, on my right side, a Prelude Caliper, and an Accord rotor and pads.

This is where it gets good.

So, yesterday, as I'm just about to pull into my girlfriend's work to pick her up, I hear a loud like crack and pop, and lose all of my brake pressure. I find out, that I have no brake pad in my right side anymore.

With all that out of the way, do you guys think the Prelude caliper screwed with the pad and might have rubbed it down too far or something? I had just started hearing the faint sound of metal on metal by for a couple days before that.

Anyway, another question. Do I just need to keep running the Accord's system on there, or could I swap it all back to the Lude. I figured I couldn't, because I think the Accord runs 4x100 lugs, and I figured that would mess with the rotor sitting on the lugs.

Any help would be much appreciated. This all may sound nooby, I dunno. I just need help.
