1986 Honda Accord needs motor

Alright, so I just acquired an 86 Honda Accord (pics when I actually get it) it's currently running on one cylinder so its gonna need a rebuild or a swap. Is there any vtec motors I can swap or does it have to be another A20A (or motor from another car) looking for straight forward swaps, not hours of refab

2nd gen Prelude motors fit.
But if you can find the elusive - GOLD TOP B20A - then do that swap. But I shouldn't have even mentioned that because you'll never find one.

I've seen some B20s I dont know much about the gold top. I also know the B20 motors are called the bastard B series. I think the chassis code on a 1986 accord is cb7? if so go to cb7tuner.com. if its not cb7 go to the sister sight which is something like Cd5 tuner I beleive.

what I do know about cb7 chasis is you can swap in a H22A, F22a, H23. pretty much anything a 4th gen prelude can

Basically nothing about this post is correct. F/H is not a particularly easy fit to these cars. Check out 3geez.com as stated farther up the thread
