Type S valve cover help

I've been meaning to paint my valve cover since forever and I ended up getting an extra valve cover today

I'm wanting to paint the one i just bought the exact same red wrinkle paint from the type s... And then after I do the ol' switcharoo I want to paint my old one the blue top euro r color.. So I can just change them if I get bored with it

Does anyone know what paint I should use to match it up perfect? Or am I gonna have to just use reg red and blue wrinkle paint?

Re: Type S valve cover help

Nothin?

I'm sure I can pull off the red look fine.. Just not sure about the blue

Guess I'll just buy the reg red and blue wrinkle paint

Might even just mess around with one and try color changing wrinkle paint

Re: Type S valve cover help

I'm about to paint my valve cover today, doing it blue with silver lettering to mimic a bluetop motor. It's not wrinkle paint and it's gonna be a bit brighter than an actual bluetop, but I'm pretty sure it'll look cool.

Just don't do a bright blue if you want it to look exactly like an actual bluetop, they're more of a drab blue. As for the actual color code or anything, no idea.

Guess I'll let thru summit..

The one I bought is already wrinkle paint blue but it's pretty dark.. I thought the blue tops were a bright blue
