cylinder is misfiring. Want your opinion

Okay so yesterday i lowered my car and painted my valve cover, pics will be coming later today.

However last night after i put the valve cover on and everything back together my engine started weird and sounded weird, and idled weird. It sounded like it was misfiring and smelled like unburnt fuel.

My brother came home soon after and he said the same thing.

Now i THINK its due to getting oil on the bottom of the spark plugs, so im taking the valve cover off again to check everything and i bought new spark plugs.

If this is not whats wrong im a little lost lol, if you have any opinions in case this doesnt work lemme know =].

Just put new spark plugs in and its still misfiring, everything looks fine so i'm not sure what it could be thats causing it.

Re: cylinder is misfiring. Want your opinion

i bought BOSCH Platinum +4 which were only $6 each at advanced auto and those arent even necessary, you can get even cheaper ones that do the trick and yes it effects your acceleration, your startup, your idle, your sound, and prolly will smell like a gas station.

Re: cylinder is misfiring. Want your opinion

My number one cylinder isnt firing :(

Changed plugs lead wires and cap, tested the compression 190 all around, thats the weird thing, getting really good compression still

Took off the valve cover to make sure it wasnt something stupid like a rocker off, or my cams out of sync, nope everthing looked great

Honda told me it was in the intake valve and TB gasket, said it would be 800$ to fix, and I can do an engine swap for 500$ haha, but I had my Dads friend look at it, he disagreed with Honda, said it was prob the exhaust valve, as Iam put putting, he said he could fix it, but it would be the same price as an engine swap, and cheaper in the long run, any other ideas of what it could be? I mean the engine will only cost me 300$ and the guy will do the swap for next to nothing, but hes having a hard time finding a f22b engine in the area, and I wouldnt mind keeping the same engine that I have
