Jumping CEL location

guys ive searched and i just cannot find a clear answer on how to properly check the CEL in my 95 lude so many write ups but some dont show pics and some debate on a 2 or 3 prong connectors i need help asap bc im trying to get to the bottom of my limp mode at the top of 3rd gear its a h22a with a p28 tuned by phearable they said it was my vtec preasure switch and i needed to bypass that through the ecu bc the h22a doesnt have one so i by passed it and then had no vtec what so ever so im dumb founded so please please please help me guys! and thanks to everyone!

Should be a blue connector under the dash (like right in the middle) that's not plugged into anything. It will have 2 holes in it, take a piece of wire and jump the 2 holes, then turn your ignition to "ON," but don't start the car. The CEL will flash you your code. You will get a certain number of long flashes, which will be your first number, and then you will get a certain number of short flashes, which is the second number. So if you were throwing code 4-1, you would get 4 long flashes, then a pause, then 1 short flash. If you find out the code, let me know and I will look it up in the service manual for you.

thanks for the reply man i know how everything is due to plenty of write ups but i cannot find this connector what so ever i found a yellow 2 prong and a blue 3 prong (possibly blue i cannot remember at this point) but i cannot find this one harness what so ever is the one your speaking of 2 prong or 3 prong? thanks and any better way to explain where exactly this mystery harness is?

On my 4G it was a blue 2 prong connector. Umm...the only way I can explain where it is....it's under the dash, right in the middle...like behind the center console, back where all the wiring for the head unit would be.

yea man ive found a yellow 2 prong and a blue 3 prong ill search some more behind there for what your describing but the yellow and blue prongs im talking about are taped together do you have those under your dash as well?

i found it for some odd reason it was plugged into some female plug but i guess did nothing but hold it but i jumped it and it did 2 long blinks (20) electric load detector ran my car to where it hits limp mode (at the top of 3rd gear around 6k rpm and the car went into limp mode and still showed the same code if any one knows how to fix this and the location of this sensor that would be great bc personally i have never heard of this sensor please some help!
