HELP! im really starting to regret getting this car!

Ok so my cars been ****ing up the past week, basically it was studdering when I would start going from first the rpms would like shut down and go all the way down to like 500. The only time it would work is when I would floor it to 3500. So I ask my instructor and he told me to change the spark plugs. So I did and on the last one there was oil it was like a puddle I couldn't even see the spark pluge, so I got the spark plug out and the oil went into the cylinder. I started it thinkin a lil of black smoke instead of black smoke white came out. I drove it around a lil bit and the rpms still studderd. Is it the head gasket, a crack in the cylinder? I need to figure this out quick. If its a cheap fix I will fix it and keep the lude, but if its high priced I'm going to fix it and then maybe sell it Idk I'm just getting sick and tierd of always haveing to fix this car. Im a student and can't afford fixing this thing over and over.

Please help guys, I really need to fix this soon!

my car use to studder. figured out one of my plug wires were arcing out on my valve cover. so i had to replace that and thanks to that it fouled my spark plugs. so i had to replace those as well. my advice get new distibuter cap and rotor, new plug wires and new spark plugs. if the problem isnt fixed get a compressin test on all the cylinders. hope its an easy fix like mine was. keep us posted on what happens

Studder?

did you mean: "stutter?''

ignorance begets ignorance........

our cars are old, they require TLC and a mechanical mind to keep them running in top shape. It is a fact you have to just deal with... or sale it to one of us that like taking care of our cars.
You didnt state what type of engine, what year, or any other pertinent details that could assist one of the very smart gentlemen on here help you.

There are MANY threads about this and the resulting fixes.
the following answers were found in less than 2 seconds by using the search feature:

White Smoke indicates a cooling system leak. It could be a simple seal or you could have a cracked block
Blue is Oil - bad rings? Valve not seating?
Black means it is running too rich.-aka... the spark plug wire idea above is a Very good suggestion.

If this is an H series motor, the spark plug boots sit down a ways into the engine. This means they are subject to extreme heat and fail often. Again... see the response above.
