Does it feel like you have to jam it in, does it feel rugged?

Tell us exactly what it feels like, or show us with a video.....

Re: need some help

Yah but I wouldn't say jam it its just rough when I try and shift gears. Me personally I think it has something to do with the short shifter cause it doesn't change the way my car drives but I'm no expert. So let me know what you think, that's probably the best way I can describe it I can make a video if u need me to.

Re: need some help

If you could that would be best, do you hear any noise when you try to shift? is reverse still ok?

If you could make a video I'm sure this could get figured out, theres just a lot of reasons why it could be hard. Maybe you just need to lube your shifter cables.

My 3rd gen is hard into first and grinds reverse if I don't put it into first gear before reverse. buts thats 100% normal for my car and theres actually no fixable problem.

Re: need some help

If it feels "notchy", you can try to replacing the tranny fluid. If its the actual shifter, it could possible be the short shifter you have in there? Do you have a short shifter adapter? or a an actual short shifter?
