HELP! WHAT IS THIS HOSE?

**UPDATE**
I checked the service manual and it says that its a "breather tube." Does this connect to anything or just stay open?

I found a random hose and do not know what it connects to.

CEL is on for codes P1768(Problem in Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Valve B Circuit Comprehensive) and P0700(Transmission Control System (MIL Request)

Not sure if it could be related to codes?

Pic 1 shows the loose end of the hose. Pics 2 and 3 show where the hose starts and 4 is zoomed out to show where the closeups are taken.

You're jealous of my pink intake...

Re: HELP! WHAT IS THIS HOSE?

Mr. Random Hose appears to be a vacuum line. Can you see any numbers printed on it?

UIt's only about 8 or 9 inches long, though...
So i doubt it would reach.

That's what she said?

Re: HELP! WHAT IS THIS HOSE?

hahahaha.

if the hose has a numbe 8 on it, its most def. the resonator of the stock intake. you dont need it, doesnt hurt anything.

This is a completely different hose....
I have the resonator hose blocked off with a screw.
It is a "breather tube" that comes off the transmission.
I'm just not sure if it connects to anything.
Having the name breather tube usually implies it doesn't but i wanna be safe.
