Re: H22 weight

158lbs

That's just the block and the head with stock internals... but no timing belt, water pump, crank pulley, and a few other things missing.

Re: H22 weight

Thanks dude but dosent do much
160 lbs would mean i could lift it up myself.. so thats just the block, i need the entire thing fully assembled
the only number i saw in that entire thing was 475lbs.. but not for the h22

Re: H22 weight

Ok, the 158 was for the block and head together... except for a few minimal things that might add up to 20 - 30 lbs. Lifting it up by yourself will be hard because of the size and akwardness. The engine with everything on it still probably doesn't weigh much more that 220 lbs if even.

I heard they were 600lbs

But maybe that's with the trans attached and all accessories.

Not to mention an at least 40lb pallet.

Let's stop posting in the thread now people. Not need in post whoring it out when nothing you say is helping. Thanks deadleprechaun for the insight.

Re: H22 weight

Glad to help. Sorry if I come off in a smarmy asshole sorta way, I'm not always mr. nice guy but if I know something is fairly easy to find I may just be mr. ar$3hole about it but in reality it's just cause if I can find it being only semi knowledgeable about cars I think most people shouldn't have issues finding it. Google rocks. Seriously ask it the exact question you want to ask. Odds are someone has asked it before and someone has replied to it.

The way you stated it was the way it needed to be said. Most people here seem to lack common sense. People don't seem to understand that either searching here or using google will get them an answer.

Re: H22 weight

With tranny and all other parts for a complete swap it's actually 585lbs not 600. Same site different section. You asked for just engine so I gave you that plus a link for where I got my info
