New Breed of Surging Issue!!!!!

I know the whole idle surge issue is a big deal. I had the same problem myself. I just followed twok's guide and eliminated the problem in less than an hour. Ever since I got this car, I have had a different surge that irritates the hell out of me. I was hoping for some help.

REMEMBER: This is not the idle surge!!!!!

Here's my problem:

When I cold start my car, it idles in stages (I was told this is fine).

It usually runs from 2500/1500/1000 rpms in an extreme cold start and 1500/800 in general cold.

Once I take off without letting it warm up, everything seems dandy (yes I said it).

After I push the clutch in to stop or shift gears, IT SURGES! WTF??

When it's cold, it will surge just like the idle surge with the clutch depressed.

After it has reached operating temperature, it still has a single surge! WTF??

So the briefing:

Why does my car "idle surge" after I depress the clutch?

Cold engine: Continuous surging until warm

Warm engine: Instead of RPM's going immediately down, it kicks one surge up to 2500.

Also, it seems when I rev it up the surging will stop at that time the clutch is depressed.

Surge range: 1000 - 2500 RPM's

PLEASE HELP, this is so damn embarassing. I hate pulling up to a stop sign with my engine going vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom...

If I left anything out, please let me know.

Re: New Breed of Surging Issue!!!!!

i have some question ,does it have a check engine light? ,also what is the actual mileage ? and has it been tune and did the valves get adjusted as part of the routine maintenance .The problem seems to me like electrical between the distributor and the ecu witch has some other sensor the will come in play like when engaging certain speed the ecu will compensate for different loads on the engine ,the problem could be in a sensor ,like knock sensor or map sensor, cam sensor ,these are examples ,please try to give a little more information .Okay.
