Icon5 suggestions on modifications on my prelude si...plz help me out

i recently bought a 1996 honda prelude si "h23/2.3L" non vtec.
everything is stock on the car except the rims.
i want my car super fast= i love speed =]
i was either thinking changing the head to vtec if thats possible
and putting headers n cold air intake..

swapping it to an h22 vtec...

how much would you estimate the cost for an h22 vtec?without installation and with?

thanks guys
ill appreciate any suggestions

Just save up for the h22 swap or boost the h23

If you want to go super fast, then you bought the wrong car. While a Prelude can be made to go quite fast, it is far from the ideal platform for such work.

Anyway, if you want power then the easiest way would be to boost the H23, which can be done easily and relatively cheaply if you know what you're doing. Before asking anything else, go read the stickies in the boost section.

If boost isn't your thing, then go and read the stickies in the NA section as they will have all the information you require.
