Passing smog in cali

ok im moving back to california in a few months and well me car wont pass smog im putting a cold air intake and a aftermarket exhaust on it b4 i move back how do i get around smog and any other laws that stop me form doing so

you might get a bit more help if your thread title was a bit more specific, such as "passing smog in cali" or something like that, rather than "help"

that way other people will know whether to waste their time reading your thread or not



until someone from cali can chime in to verify, i'll just say that i think any aftermarket part has to have a carb exempt tag on it so you can pass smog.

Basically
Tread_very_carefully_when_modding_in_Cali.Get_thos e_stickers.There_is_a_post_on_here_that_shows_how_ to_do_it_cheaply.(or_should_i_say_bootleg)

C.A.R.B. (California Air Resources Board ???) Exempt stickers are your friend. There are plenty of C.A.R.B. exempt mods out there. Just look around.
