Pulleys, dishwasher safe?

I wasn't really sure where to post this, I put it in off topic initially but no response...

I'm going to sell my old pulleys on ebay and figured I should clean them first. Since I'm lazy, I figured I could throw them in the dishwasher. Any reason not to?

Re: Pulleys, dishwasher safe?

It seriously took you longer to wait for a reply than it would have to just clean them with some brake cleaner.

It's also a carcinogen. So..uhh..yeah don't breathe it in too much or it will literally eat away more than your paint job.
