Icon5 IS300 wheels on a CR-V?

I have a 98' CR-V and I was wanting to know if Lexus IS300 (2001) wheels would fit it? The lug pattern is the same but someone told me the wheel hub might be too big/small and wouldn't fit. I wonder if there is anyway to find out before ordering the wheels off of Ebay?

Re: IS300 wheels on a CR-V?

What is the bolt pattern? (CRV is 5x114.3)
What is the offset? (CRV stock offset is presumably somewhere around +55 as I've seen a couple around here with stock Prelude wheels)

You could possibly use our tyre and wheel size guide thread as a rough idea for sizes and tyres, but keep in mind that is data from Preludes.

Re: IS300 wheels on a CR-V?

If the hub bore is bigger on the Lexus you can just use hub rings (or just rely on the studs). If it is smaller, you can have the wheels machined.

The CRV I believe is 64.1mm. Prelude is 70.3mm. IS300 I think is 60.1mm, so they would need machining.

The Lexus wheels are 5x114, hub 60.1, offset is 50 mm

The CRV is 5x114, hub is 64.1, offset is 55 mm

*edit

Just seen your post. Thanks rhangman. I wonder if it's worth the trouble of getting them machined.
