Hunting for leaks?

Not sure if there is a thread on this or not if there is I apologize....

After reading a "tricks of the trade" in Import Tuner I'm wondering if anyone has tried it...Spraying brake cleaner, starting fluid, etc on hoses to find leaks? I really don't feel like typing the whole article out but that's the main point of it.

Re: Hunting for leaks?

yup pretty much spray any liquid (even water) on vacuum hoses to find an air leak, and it'll start to bubble over the leak.

Spray brake cleaner on vacuum hoses and your idle will go up

Use brake cleaner and spray away to find any leaks
