Engine confusion

hi everyone,

When i got my car, i was told it was a 1992,

however, when i went to do my brakes and a few other things, i found that it took 1993 rotors and pads,

on the door panel, it says si-vtec

is it a 1993 model or 1992?

Also, i have a h22a bb1 engine as it is stamped on my rad support and says on the actual engine itself, my car was an import, so what year is this engine?? its really hard to get parts as i do not know what year my engine is, it took a 1992 bb1 p/s pump, so im confused :S help pleasee

Re: Engine confusion

Little things like plugs, intake, intake manifold, and even under drive pulleys are interchangeable between fourth and fifth gens, especially if you have the same engine as the fifth gens, the H22.

Re: Engine confusion

It is most likely a 93 model year spec'd car. However show me one manufacturer who didn't start building MY93 cars part way through 1992 and I'll eat my hat.
