Advice on wether to get a new car.

Hey guys ive had my 98 prelude for a year now, i love the car, my fav one ive owned so far but theres one thing that really bothers me. It has 17000 miles on it, it burns about a quart a month and its in decent shape but i feel like its has too many miles to start really doing a few mods like i want to. So you think i should hold on it to it or sell it and try to find another prelude with less miles on it. What kinda problems do u think i will run into if i keep it for a few more years with the high miles?
