possible frankeinstien

I have a 1990 lude si and its my first lude ever matter in fact its my first honda ever but i have this problem my speedo dont work for one i have no speedo cable for 2 my instrument cluster has no place for a speedo cable is this cars speedo run off of speed senser or is it supposed to have cable if on senser were are they so im not sure if someone changed things around or not could someone please tell what this car supposed tohave so i can correct it and buy the way the cluster wires wont plug into instrument cluster thats set for a speedo cable signed confused

punctuation is "key" when typing.
especially when it comes down to the person reading it and deciding if they want to read it twice or not.
