VTECANDY is on a distinguished road
1998 H22 UPGRADES

hi everyone,

i have a 98 h22a vtec engine in a 92 jdm lude,

does anyone know any cheap upgrades to free up some more low end power? or any power for that fact,

so far, i got a short ram intake pipe and pod, running ngk iridium leads n plugs, got a HKS cannon with a 4inch tip, just got the distributor rebuilt, replaced water pump.

anything else i can do that will give me some more power? i was thinking going turbo, kits cost between 1200-1500 from ebay, any advice?

budjet is around 400-500, any recommendations for fuel pump replacement, headers and what typee?

thanks

not really much you can do in that price range that you haven't already done. These motors already come with a good amount of hp and tq w/ the factory tune for a motor that size

ebay turbo kit = no go. decide if you want to stay NA or boost it. if youre boosting, dont get a header. if youre staying NA, looking into bisi, hytech replica, other good headers.
