Fuel guage

Hi all,

I've just recently put my prelude 89 back on the road after a 8 month rstoration period after someone ran up the back. I have everything working and am very happy with the car overall. But my fuel guage on the dash is stuck on halfway. Obviously the float in the tank is stuck after sitting for so long.

Now, the question is, where can i access the fuel tank so i can change over to another fuel float level to test if this is a problem? Or dose any body have some suggestions? And help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance.

Check out your online service manual there^. That should include how to drop the gas tank. IIRC it isn't all too much of a pita, but then again I don;t own/ haven't dropped my lude's gas tank. So take my advice for what it is.

I'm sure someone like Neck will chime in with precise instructions for ya....maybe...
