prelude headlight assembly installation

hi everyone,

i have a 1992 prelude jdm spec, and i have just got 2 new headlight assemblies to replace my old faded out ones,
how do you replace the old ones? do you have to remove the front bumper to get to it? or can it be done without removing the bumper? any steps?

Re: prelude headlight assembly installation

I've never done it on a 4th gen, but to my understanding the process is similar to the 5th gen. You have to remove the bumper then its pretty straight forward. You should go to the 4th gen resource thread and download the online helms manual. IIRC it has the step for removing the bumper and the headlights. installation is simply reverse order. Or should be. I'm sure a 4g guy will pop in here and confirm one way or the other shortly.
