Re: ECU's

if you're obd1 which is 92-95 not sure about the 96 preludes...get the p28,p72, or p30 ecus listed in order of best imo to ok! not saying worst well because they are all great ecu's
if you're obd2 97-present day get the p13

distributor voltage differences between obd1 and obd2 if your running a jumper then yeah I guess its ok but alot of people dont and they want to plug-N-play without jumpers.

The way I always did anything conversion wise I did it myself of course fun stuff..i.e: I had a crx converted to obd1 I had an obd1 dizzy on the motor and I redid all the ecu plugs with obd1 plugs-I dont like these conversion harnesses even made by companies like skunk2 they all go bad soon enough, plus im the kind of person who likes to say I did all the work on this no one else helped :D
only problem people have with doing it the way I did is that they dont want to cut their Factory harness, I did knowing it wasnt meant for street.

Re: ECU's

ummm...guys.......he drives a 4th gen. not a 5th lol. and if youre not looking for more power or anything. i wouldnt even bother with the hassle of switching ECU's. that is unless of course, something in yours is messed up

Yeah p13 designed for preludes it will run it to OEM spec of course but if he ever wanted to do anything a p28 would be best tuning wise a p13 is shiet!
