Book Values

Anyone have good links to the values of all generation ludes, with trims, milage, and condition.

The reason I'm asking is because I am trying to prove in court the value of my prelude.

I looked on cars.com for ones like mine for sale and the average cost was $3000US.

Mine was an 86 red base with 275000km or 170000miles and only a few km on a new head gasket and rad. The condition was between excellent and good, and mechanical wise, excellent.

I'm kindof looking to replace it with a 3rd gen 4ws or 2nd gen 2.0si.

Re: Book Values

I really like the KBB but the further back you go the less acurate it gets. Although it is the best of its kind. How does the KBB detect your location? IP adress or something? I'm using it from Canada unfortunately so the values it gives are kindof useless.

Re: Book Values

Oh, just remembered on KBB that I put in a zip code. I used one close to the border, where I purchased my car.

Edmunds and other sites, just dont go back further than 90 or sometimes 2000. Kindof useless when I consider the first and second generation to be apreciating in value about now, being 2010 and all, making those cars around 25 years old.
