Icon5 Electrical FUN???

Hey, i need some help, maybe someone might know.. I bought a 92 Honda Prelude si, h23 stock, stick, and runs pretty good. now the issues:

When i turn on my headlights, my passenger Low-beam light comes on along with the parking light, my driver side does not, but the parking light does. now when i turn on my brights, they are very dimm, and the weird thing is that when i checked the bulbs they all work and when i checked the fuses, the driver side fuse blew, so i replaced it with a 30, and it still blew, so im assuming there is a short somewhere, maybe someone has had some experiance with this b4 or has some advice, i cannot figure out how to trace that line, and i think the short is on the driverside, again im not great at following wiring diagrams, i have the one for it but, im going crazy. any advice, or tutorials online etc. let me know thanks!

i had this problem too jack your car up and look up under the fender an make sure the wires have not rubbed your tire, mine came unattached and was being rubbed by my tire and i had a lot of bare wires touch grounding my headlight connection out.

Re: Electrical FUN???

ok first of all, just because you blew a fuse, doesnt mean you should try puttin a bigger one in its place. thats a good way lite things on fire. and completely **** things up on your car.
so for one, put the stock size fuse back in,
then two, check all your grounds for the headlights, make sure they are tight and clean.
and if its not that, then follow the wires, and check for any breaks or exposed wiring.

and for it being dim, could also have something to do with the fact that one of your bulbs isnt lighting up.. when you turn on your hi's. it leaves the lows on. so might also wanna replace the bulbs..
