I have a H22A that im currently going to be build for the fallowing months (hope to be finished by July). I have some type of aftermarket cam shafts, forged Skunk2 valves, forged Eagle I-Beam rods, and forged, dished pistons .. i might also have a forged crank but i don't know how to tell ..

Anyways, I know i am going to get a balance shaft eliminator kit, Greddy Extreme Timing Belt, SKUNK2 PRO SERIES INTAKE MANIFOLD,water pump .. (sorry for unnecessary CAPS .. I was copying and pasting)

WHat else shout I buy ?? I need to know what's good, and what stuff of that matter .. like whats the best bearings there is ??

Yea, you can't turbo an h22a and have it even semi dependable or even that fast with a $2000-$3000 budget. Not being a dick, just being honest. You need to figure out what cams you have and what pistons you have, that could help a lot.

good point. if theyre anything besides mahle gold (?) theyre gonna cause a lot of damage. youll barely get a good turbo kit with that much money. take a real good look at the FI section

Re: How would you build it ??

I suggest you search in the Forced Induction section and the Naturally Aspirated section of the forum. Can you tell if your block has been sleeved?

taken from: na section, thread: h22 buildup info
"Now, using forged pistons in the H22 has another little wrinkle the stock sleeve liner material. Honda uses a material called FRM, which stands for fiber-reinforced metal, and its been heavily debated whether or not its possible to run forged pistons in the FRM sleeves. Along with a type of carbon fiber, FRM uses standard aluminum alloy as a major component. Since forged pistons are also aluminum . . . . any contact between the two is going to result in severely scarred cylinder walls, and an expensive rebuild. Now, there are companies that claim their pistons will work perfectly with an FRM sleeved engine (like JUN & Wiseco). However, I have yet to find any proof that this is the case (like an engine torn down & inspected after 30,000 miles or so of use)."

so you have a couple options. you can completly resleeve it with a new iron sleeve, or you can find JUN or Mahle Gold pistons. which are supposed to be compatible with the FRM walls

Re: How would you build it ??

if you get valves, i would highly suggest a 3-angle valve job done by a reputable machinist.
