Re: CAR WONT GO INTO GEAR WHEN ON

tranny fluid.!!!!!

you should drain all your old tranny fluid located under the tranny theres a drain plug an right above that is a another plug open that up an add 2 quarts of
synchromesh i use pennzoil the best...!!! make sure you get manual tranny fluid as well, fill it all the way till it starts coming out and bam screw that plug back in.

youll be looking for this

can be found at your local autozone.

this should solve the problem an you have nothing to lose.

not sure. i had a friend helping me who is way more expienced then me. he put 1qt of nonsynthetic oil into something one the transmission. not too sure what though. would this have the same effect as transmission fluid? i feel like the pressure plate isnt disengaging the clutch. would this help that?

Re: CAR WONT GO INTO GEAR WHEN ON

I would go with GM Synchormesh as its what I'm currently using. The H transaxle would take two quarts and a little more.

I had the same problem on my old tranny when I was still F22B1 VTEC. Water got mixed in with my old tranny fluid while I was cleaning up the tranny, and after I flushed it out and in with the new stuff, it ran like a champ.
