help please quickly as pos cos car is in bits

hi
right im changing the intake manifold at the moment, i am trying to remove the existing manifold however i am struggling to even get to the bolts that hold it to the engine let alone undo them. so question is- is there a easy way to get to these bolts, i am assuming you dont have to have the engine out just to get to these bolts. any help would be very much apprieated, its just the bottom bolts that are causing the problems.

bottom ones are a PITA.

just to get the obvious outta the way... you are going at them from the bottom of the car correct?
an open-ended wrench should be all you need for them. IIRC there is one that's an absolute bitch tho, its either the farrr left or far right one.

got the worst ones all out now, just 2 left, and they wouldnt be so bad if i could find a 12mm open or ring spanner. gonna try again tomorrow, little worried that if its this hard to get off then putting new one on is gonna be a absolute pig ****er.
got all of them so far by going at them from the top with combinations of knuckled sockets. last 2 shouldnt be too bad when i get the right tool.
so basically no real trick to it? just lots of frustration and swearring yeah
