Rim ballers- Please identify wheels

ae86 240sx mesh rims< Click Me

This guy says these wheels are SSR reverse mesh rims, but all I did was google it and they look a little different. Can any of you tell if they're fake? The guy does seem kinda shady, not knowing the exact lug pattern of the wheels or the offsets on the rims. He's pretty sure they're 4X114(.3?) though, since they were on his 240sx. He's asking $800 for them, no centercaps.

Worth the money, or would I be getting a set of bunk wheels?

BTW, sold the TENZOS!!! today.

For those too lazy to click the link:

Yeah I just checked out his that link, looks a lot like them. I'm guessing they're just an older model SSR.

Re: Rim ballers- Please identify wheels

Doesn't either Drag or Rota make replicas of these? makes me think twice on whether they're original or just a replica that he's trying to rip you off on.

Re: Rim ballers- Please identify wheels

Those are not ssr or axis and rota doesn't make that wheel design.

They look just like these but without the center caps obviously.

Yea, they are an old set of HRE wheels for sure...

IDK if they are something I would pay 800 for when you can get something better looking with new tires for around the same price.

If you do decide you want them I woult test fit them before making the purchase. HRE makes amazing quality wheels for high class cars so they might be worth the money IF you can find the center caps.

Re: Rim ballers- Please identify wheels

I appreciate the help guys, I'll let you guys know how it goes down. BB2, you're right, I'd definitely have to find those center caps... I'll work on that too.

Thanks again guys.
