Gas levels up and down

Ok, so everytime i am on a downhill, my fuel level on my cluster next to the speedometer goes up, then when i go uphill, it goes down, and sometimes im on the freeway, and i come to a complete stop, it drops 2 bars, then when i go uphill it goes down, and so on, im wondering if theres anyway to fix this, like a new fuel sensors or something? or is this a problem? is it fixable?

No you can't fix it. Take a glass of water and tilt it. that's whats happening in your gas tank it just means your sending unit is working.

Re: Gas levels up and down

think of a carburetor the float level... when your going down and up the hill the fuel in your tank is sloshing around messing with the float level. that being said close thread.
