They work but you have to get them tuned. Or its just a fancy tachometer.

If by "work" you mean move the VTEC crossover point, then yes they work.

If by "work" you mean give me more power and more usable torque, then they're a waste of time. Most "vtec controllers" only move the engagement point, they don't move the high and low cam fuel and ignition maps. So if you move the engagement point to 2000rpm then you'll be on the high cam, but using the low cam fuel and ignition settings. Not an ideal situation.

And besides, moving the engagement point does f**k all unless you've done some serious mods anyway. The crossover is set where the torque curves of both cam profiles crossover. There's no point in having VTEC kick in earlier if you're shifting into a hole where there's no torque.

And come to think of it, we've coverd this 400 times this year. Next time search.
