aftermarket fuel gauge? possibly autometer?

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has had success installing and an aftermarket fuel gauge and using the stock sending unit. I have a 4th gen and have an idea i would like to put into motion if its not to difficult wiring wise. Anyone with experience or ideas would be helpfull. Thanks

i don't see it being too terribly difficult. one ground wire, one to the ignition switch, and one to the fuel level sender. or something pretty close to that.

hey dude it's not that difficult. try to get the electric meters because the mechanical may leak inside the car .
