Where's my Power

So I have my 98 H22 that I swapped into my 86 prelude. I converted it to OBD 1 - p13 computer - and with the help of my friend we pretty much re-wired a new harness. (because my engine isn't running any emission controls, etc..).
So it's pretty much stock except for a couple things:
-short ram air intake
-B&M fuel pressure regulator
-Walbro fuel pump (running like 36psi)
-2 1/4 exhaust i believe.. and a resonator
-DC header (yes I know its not awsome, it was already on the engine when I bought it)

So I figure I should feel quite a performance upgrade from my old 1.8l carb engine, but I just don't feel much acceleration, and I know that it should go faster than this. It struggles going up hill in third and I usually have to drop it into second.

I've thought about having it tuned but I don't know how well they could tune it since so much of it is custom. But I don't know much about tuning, so that's why I'm asking. Does anyone know what I should do to get my car running the way it should be?

Re: Where's my Power

was it a good known motor? aka good compression?

the difference DEFINITELY shoulda been noticeable!! i'd recommend a full tune-up, then go from there.
