Re: Fuel mapping

the best way to get you'r tune perfected in one session is to hop on a dyno.
find a reputable tuner first and see what there comfortable with.
try and stay away from the ones using programs like crome, neptune but if thats all that is around any tune is better than none.
even just street tuners.....

your best bet is a hondata or a chipped p-28.
eCtune is a program alot of people here use with great sucess and is by far superior to most other methods.

i would strongly encourage you to find someone fluent in tuning, or begin what will be a ton of research to try and tune it your self.

where are you from, maybe someone out there can recommend someone

Re: Fuel mapping

albq. nm
well
SO AM I
i can give you the contact info for probably the most reputable AFFORDABLE
tuner in town.
better yet
http://www.sq-creations.com/sqcturbo.html

heres what he has said about his acceridation:
"I am a graduate of the EFI University EFI101 course. I have been turboing Honda's since 1999 and tuning since 2005." as seen on the RSW thread
http://racingsouthwest.com/forums/in...8&#entry881058

tuning is not something anyone should discourage you from embracing, and learning but do not take it lightly, a few wrong settings can mess up an engine. Not so much immediatly on n/a cars but you really want to do your home work. im not familiar on the p72 hondata aproach but it does work well. i personally use a chipped p28 with dyno written maps. the car performs amazingly for the elevation we are at up here.
i will pm you some more info......

street tuners are a dime a dozen.
through the thick of the fog you can find someone who can do good, and not just change variables...
im giving you the advice of people who flip cars for breakfast.
http://www.speedlabperformance.com/home/page/about_us
and http://www.solid-technology.com/office.html
its not the program, as it is half the people who use it.
like i said "the ones" using them.
all im trying to say is dont let your car be someones gunnie pig.

but you know this your clearley an authorized tuner.

Re: Fuel mapping

that is not what your post interprets. It tells me that neptune is comparable to crome and that is definitely not the case.
